Galentine's Day Party Ideas + Cocktails for your girl gang

We know you don't need an excuse to celebrate your friends but maybe you need a good excuse to get a girl date on the cally. May we suggest a Galentine's Day Party?

It's the perfect, girly excuse to have a fun, cocktail filled friend sess. I've rounded up a few of my favorite cocktails, a super unique party game, and a sweet Galentine's Day card idea you can send to your girls in case you can't get together in person this year.

If you've been following me for awhile (Hi!), then you know I am all about easy cocktails. And if you haven't been following me (Hi, welcome to our cocktail loving girl gang!), then you should know that I whole-heartedly believe in finding delicious, simple cocktails for you to whip up and then enjoy WITH your girls instead of playing bartender the whole time. I want you to have time to actually hang with your girls and enjoy your girl time. SO for your Galentine's Day party I'm suggesting two easy breezy but super special drink options

Cocktail option #1: A boozy coffee cocktail because we are all running on coffee by this point right?

I'll be picking up a bottle of Cafecito for my girls. It is a take on Cuban coffee that is dark and sweet. Artisan Craft Cocktails version of this nostalgic beverage is a sweet and smooth combination of rum, cacao, vanilla liqueur, and coffee flavors. Enjoy it chilled and sipped slowly.

Cocktail option #2: Go bubbly with a little international flair  

I love to pop the bubbly when I'm with my girl friends so I also have my eye on this Aprés Sol. It is an Italian sparkling rosé that claims to taste is like nothing you've had before. "The bubbles are creamy, the taste is fruity, and the effects are fun" I can get on board with that!

Galentine's Day Decorations:

I spotted this DIY table cloth idea on Pinterest and decided this was the perfect addition to a Galentine's Day party and it literally couldn't be simpler.

I used a full roll of bulletin board paper from Michaels, a sponge brush and cheap craft paint. I rolled the paper out on the floor and then went to town making X's and O's across the paper. My one tip would be to start in one corner at a 45 degree angle. From there you can just go left to right repeating the pattern row to row until you get to the end of the paper. It is so easy and it looks so pretty!

Galentine's Day Cards for the best snail mail ever:

So much of our life is on screen, especially the last two years with all the super fun pandemic stuff 🙄 , so I love the idea of spoiling your girls with some quality snail mail. Not only is it super fun to get something in your mail box that isn't a bill, it's pretty great to have a real life experience.
