Happy Friday cocktail lovers. I am back with my last installment of reviewing the tiny canned cocktails from Dashfire. (Spoiler alert: I'll be back in a few months with their coffee canned cocktails so keep an eye out for that.) If you missed it, a few week ago I tried their whiskey cocktails which I loved and last week I had an eye opening time trying their El Presidente and a Martini. This week is all about their Elderflower Martinez and Chai White Russian.
I've been dying to try that White Russian since the moment these cocktails arrived so I'm crossing my fingers it is going to be as good as I'm hoping. If my past experience with Dashfire cocktails is any indication, both of these are going to be bomb!
Since it is officially September, I figured it was time to break out my Fall Swizzly Sticks and a few pumpkins for this Dashfire photo shoot. How cute are those cocktails?!?

Dashfire Elderflower Martinez:

I have had elderflower cocktails before but I'm pretty sure I've never had a Martinez so I didn't know what to expect with this cocktail. It is a gin cocktail and the can describes it as gin, sherry, elderflower liqueur and bitters.
I think the sherry is what I tasted the most. It also has a nice botanical flavor to it from the elderflower. Overall this is a really nice, grown-up drink. It tastes very sophisticated - and it's strong at 38% so you'll want to sip this one for sure.
I am pleasantly surprised by how much I like this one. If I saw it on a cocktail menu it wouldn't be my first choice of flavors to order so I would probably miss out. I'm so happy that I did try the Dashfire Elderflower Martinez. I'm going to have to rethink my entire stance on gin and sherry now!

Where has this cocktail been all my life? I am IN LOVE with this Chai White Russian from Dashfire. It is sweet and creamy and rich and boozy but in a really well balanced way. This drink is now on my all time favorites list.
Think of the best White Russian you've ever had and then kick it up a couple of points and you might be getting close to this one. I love the addition of the chai spices to the traditional White Russian base. The spices warm it up just a touch and it's just dreamy.
It is more of a dessert cocktail. It is a sweeter cocktail for sure but it is not too sweet in an icky way. It's more decadent. It reminded me a bit of a boozy chai latte - which is right up my alley!

Would I buy these again?
All the yes! I am already trying to figure out when I can get more of those Chai White Russians. Overall there are several Dashfire canned cocktails that I really loved - those whiskey cocktails were fire!
They are a little tricky to find. As of the writing of this article only three of them are available online at Total Wine and they aren't on Drizly. The Dashfire website does have a locator feature so that's my next stop. If you'd like to try them too, use this link below.
